Hope you are all enjoying the ICR(Indian Craft Room) Anniversary Events on the roll!

TWO MORE DAYS for the ICR LIVE CHAT (FEB 24th) where ICRians have the perfect opportunity to meet online, know each other and have fun with our LIVE CHAT 2013 events.

Now come to our monthly challenge details, ICRC26.

This month our challenge is "Candy Holder" But yes, with a twist again.....

And the COMBO TWIST is LOVE IS "UP IN THE AIR".

***KEY NOTE*** :

CANDY HOLDER could be anything.... Small/Big to hold candies for ur sweetheart....
You can either deck up something store bought/paper make some small nothings/simply deck up a top note and attach it to a small pouch of candies, anything at all!

Here is my creation based on the challenge-




I have used an acrylic cone as candy holder and add a handmade tag to it.

Background of the tag is stamped created with my new Prima Paintable theme clear stamp available in our store.
Heart air ballon is handmade created with pattern papers.
Tiny small hearts are punched.
Printed organza ribbon is used for making the bow on the tag available in our store.
Flying hearts are stamped.
Heart Border punch used at the bottom of the tag.

Its an Accordion fold card. Tied with ribbon all around. Its the front of my card. Sentiment is computer generated and rose flower is handmade.



Its the Inside view of my card.

Shape is hand drawn and handcut.
On left first fold - Couple sillhoute and sentiment are computer generated.
On Second fold - I have used Flower dimensional element available in my store.
On Third Fold - I have used Leaves shape buttons, tree trunk is hand drawn and hand cut, Bird and Bird house are dimensional elements available in my store.
On Fourth Fold - Image and Sentiment is computer generated.

SHAPED CREATIONS+ ANYTHING IN & AROUND HOME

Challenge is - Shaped Cards where shapes are inspired from Home.

and the combo twist is-

Shapes inspired from things at home.

Though square and rectangle are shapes but we are looking for some unique shapes. Shapes that you see at home not the nestabilities ones but a real one.

Here is my creation based on the challenge -



The shape of the card is inspired by the shape of my home's window.

Background Pattern Paper is locally bought.
Scallop circle shape is hand drawn and hand cut.
Birds shapes are hand drawn and hand cut.
Buttons are from Pie lane bought from Ujjwal.
Leaves and stems are hand drawn and hand cut.
Heart tag in top of the card is hand drawn and hand cut.
Sentiment is computer generated.
Floral paper laces are punched.

CAS card

Hi all

I am in a mood to create CAS (Clean and Simple) card. This card took one whole day of mine in planning itself. I really enjoyed while making these simple cards. Simple elements on simple cards tell the whole story of your creation.

Here is my creation -



Base is White cardstock.
Heart, flower, Butterfly elements are created from some of my old stamps.
Do you wish to know Pink, Violet and Blue stamp pads are from which Brand.

Hmm, these are not actually stamp pads, these are my Poster colors. Yes these are poster colors. I can handle poster colors so well, so I decided to try it on stamps too. I like to experiment with them. I like the result. You can also try your poster colors and see the results.
Tiny small frames on each stamp is Hand drawn and Hand cut.
Green big frame is gifted. Thank you Yvonne for this lovely gift.
I love You is a dimensional element.

Hi all

I am back with my another creation.

I have been thinking heart shape card for a very long time but hardly get a time to try this. I don’t have even expensive dies so I was a bit nervous to try this too. But suddenly it came to my mind why not I draw some scallop shape heart roughly and try it on some rough paper first. Then I draw scallop shape heart, convert it in to easel card and I was surprised that the card shape comes out so well without using any dies.

Finally I decided to make a final scallop heart easel card.

Now here comes my creation without using any dies -



Card base is hand drawn and hand cut on a Red cardstock.
Couple silhouette image is a cut out from an old invitation card.
Background scene is created by some old stamps and stamp pads are from our own Indian art supplies brand Yes Camel brand. I am a big fan of this brand and mostly buy my art stuff from this brand.
Inside scallop circle shape is again hand drawn and hand cut.
Sentiment is computer generated.
Cupid is again computer generated.

This time we have to Interpret the word RAIN + Deck Up Inside of the Card OR an Envelope for the Card. Interesting and yes a head-scratch-er too.

For me its raining Love + I am decorating the inside of the card.

Just a quick card

Hi all

Idea came in my mind and I just make a card along with its envelop on a white card stock as white cardstock is my favourite. Use bubbles embossed white cardstock (which spardha sent me on my birthday) on plain white card stock.I am amazed by this lovely paper of Spardha n want to use this on my card and just waiting for a good idea and thought,now idea and thought came in my mind and I just quickly made a card.





Use puffy stickers over it which I bought from my local market.Sentiment is from Itsy Bitsy.
