Free Templates for Paper Crafting

Hi all
This post is dedicated to all my crafter friends, bloggers and readers of my blog who don’t have expensive dies and punches.

Lots of crafters have asked from me so many times that how I make the shapes of my cards like scallop circle, scallop oval, scallop heart and so many shapes without the help of expensive dies and punches.
So keeping in mind every week I will share free templates on my blog as well as on my store blog too which is solely created by me. I also share some of the sentiments too which I designed in lack of particular stamps for my creations.

How I created these templates – First I sketch my template by hand, scan it in to my P.C. and then edit it in any vector software like CorelDraw or Illustrator.

How to use it – These templates are designed in Vector software that means these can be resize
without losing its resolution. Just take out the print out according to the desired size on cardstock cut it according to the shape/design of the template. Keep it with you and use it as a template for your further creations.

How to neatly cut with scissors - Place your paper near the hinge of your scissors, not the tip. This will allow you better maneuverability and result in clean-cut edges.

Note- If our templates help you or inspire you to create anything, please let us know and give full credit to our blog too. These templates are solely created by us and we do not allow any one to sell or use these templates for any commercial purpose.

So here comes my First Template for You-

So enjoy paper crafting with our templates every week.

Parrots

Hi all

I Just finished my another painting on Parrots.

This painting reminds me of my childhood days when I used to go to my neighbour home, she had a parrot of green color,I always go to her home just to see her parrot. I enjoyed when he spoke whatever I spoke. I call him Mithu. Love those moments.

Colorful parrots, their curved and pointed beaks always inspire me to capture their beauty through my colors.

This is a mix media painting on paper. I have used Dry pastels, poster colors and water colors too in this creation.(reference taken from one of the books on birds)

MONOCHROMATIC + LETTER FAMILY

Hi all

We are back with another challenge at ICR.

This time challenge is -

MONOCHROMATIC + LETTER FAMILY

MONOCHROMATIC- according to definitions online, is a single color tone, playing all by itself... but sometimes takes support of just one neutral.... either white or black...... Since it poses shades of it.

But yes, with a twist again.....

And the COMBO TWIST is LETTER FAMILY!

Color should rule the creation, as It should be MONOCHROMATIC.

But at the same time, for just that little enhancement you need to bring out the best in your creativity...the alphabet can help you.You need to use at least 2 components on the creation with that letter YOU CHOOSE!

For Eg.,

'B' is for blue,brads,buttons,blings,butterfly etc...
"p" is for pink, pins, peach, pearls, petals, punch craft etc
'R' is for red,rose,ribbons,raffia,etc.

Here is the challenge pad for you-

And here is my creation based on the challenge -

I have created the mixed media monochromatic collage and used the color Blue with supportive WHITE, Blue blings n blue butterflies along with blue background n blue buttons too.

Acrylic Canvas

Hi all

I just finished my Acrylic Canvas Painting. I love to paint landscapes and historical monuments.

Water, trees, fresh air, green atmosphere all around. Reflection of trees fall on the water as if green carpet is spread all over the water. Ducks are there, sitting as if they wish to talk to us. Water look so beautiful with the reflection of trees. Just a perfect atmosphere for an artist to capture this beauty in to their canvas.

Do you know this is a real landscape which I paint and its from Delhi...yes Delhi.

Such beautful scenes are still present in Delhi.

Thankyou God for making this Earth so beautiful. I wish we can protect and save this natural beauty.

Quilled Note Cards

Hi all

I am back with two mini Quilled Note Cards. Though I am not that much into Quilling but colorful quilling strips always fascinate me. Swirling, Rolling, Curling oh my God so much fun and so much wide this Quilling is.

I just came across Sathya, one of the fellow bloggers and totally gone mad after seeing her Quilled creations. So much depth, so much detailing, totally full of life. Then I seriously started thinking to try my hands on Quilling. Thank you Sathya for making me inspire so much.

After that I came across Pritesh blog. She tried each and everything in Quilling, combine various techniques together to form a quilled creation, open the new wide gate in quilling which is really close to art. Her creations also inspire me a lot. Thank you Pritesh for inspiring me so much.

So here comes my Quilled creations -

One more thing I enjoyed Quilling more with my fingers than doing with the tools.
